A year ago I saw a photo in a Russian newspaper of an old Russian woman. Her posture said so much about her entire life. One could almost see all the difficulties she had to endure while living in the soviet USSR. And now she was clearly struggling to make ends meet in a collapsed and corrupt country. She is a symbol of what so many people lived through.
