Working during the Covid 19 Pandemic in the Emergency Room of Jamaica Hospital hospital in Queens NY, I witnessed firsthand the horrors of this disease and of our failure to combat it effectively. We were in the epicenter of the Pandemic spread in the USA. This sculpture reflects my state of frustration and fatigue at that time. My clothes and equipment which I used while working are incorporated in this sculpture.
